PrismCAS is an application that enables Central Authentication Service (CAS) for Prism lineup of applications as well as third party applications. Central Authentication Service (CAS) is a single-sign-on / single-log-out protocol for the web. It permits a user to access multiple applications while providing their credentials (such as user id and password) only once to a central CAS Server application. PrismCAS implements CAS Protocol 3.0 Specification to provide industry standard authentication with additional features such as managing roles and permissions of the users of all connected applications.
